Correction
Dr Pete Sudbury one of our new governors is parent of Charlotte in Foundation class and Joshua in Beech class. I was getting my children and parents a bit mixed up last week. Apologies to Dr Sudbury.
Young Voices
Pupils from Years 5 and 6 left this morning to join other school choirs at the London 02 Arena for the Young Voices concert. It has been lovely to hear the children rehearsing in the school hall over the past few months. If you have a child or children who have gone to London there is an app in the app store under Young Voices. You need your own code plus the password of PAR36486. A reminder that the coaches should be back by about 11.30 p.m. If this time is significantly different information will be on the school website from about 11 p.m.
A note from the Governors
We would like to welcome 3 new members to the Governing Body and say ‘thank you’ to them for putting themselves forward. Rachel Winterbottom is Mum to Thomas and Olivia in Year 3, Dr Peter Sudbury is Dad to Joshua in Year 2 and Charlotte in Oak class, and Paul Smith is Dad to Isabelle in Year 2 and Adam in Year 3. We are still looking for one more member of the Governing Body. If you are interested please let Mrs Ashwood know in the School office and she will pass your details on, or you can email the Chair of Governors, Helena McBride on Helena.adams07@gmail.com. As Governors we support the School Leadership Team and being a school governor is interesting and rewarding.
