Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre - 15th May 2014

Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre – Monday 14th July 2014

During the Summer Term your child/children have been learning about Mini-Beasts. I thought it would be enjoyable and motivating for the children to have a visit to Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre, where the children will participate in a range of games and learn to respect nature and learn how living things grow. The trip will be based around the theme of a Teddy Bear’s Picnic and your child will need to bring one teddy bear along on the trip.

The trip is going to take place on Monday 14th July 2014 first thing in the morning. The children will need to be in school at 8:40am ready to leave school at 8:45am. The trip will last the full school day but due to traffic the children may arrive back at school slightly late. Please be patient if this is the case.

All children will need a suitable packed lunch, snack and drink. The children will need to wear their school uniforms and comfortable footwear. Please ensure you pack a rain coat for your child even if it is not raining that morning as we will be outside all day. Also if it is sunny could you please put all day sunscreen on your child to ensure they are protected whilst out in the sun.

Please inform me if your child has asthma or any allergies and ensure your child has their inhaler or medication on the day. There will be a charge of £5.50 per child to go on the trip to the Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre.

Kindly complete the consent form below and attach the £5.50 inside a named envelope. Pleasereturn it by Friday 11th July 2014.

If you need any further information please contact me.

Thank you,

Mrs Farrant
