Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to Woodcote Primary School!
It is an absolute pleasure to be the headteacher of such a vibrant village school. I have been in this post since Easter 2014 and every day find something new that brings a smile of delight to my day.

Woodcote village lies in South Oxfordshire and the school nestles next to Langtree Secondary School where most of our children move on to year 7. We also have the Cabin Pre-school on site and have developed good links with both settings. Read more here

As a team we constantly strive to offer the very best holistic learning experience for your child so that he or she may become a confident and independent member of an ever-changing and challenging society.

Education is a partnership between home and school  – we place a great deal of emphasis on our relationship with our parents and believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to discover their own individual strengths and talents within a supportive, caring environment.

Throughout the years we have consistently achieved success by adhering to the school motto of LEARNING, CARING and SHARING.
