Pastels, Light and the Haka - 18th Sept 2015

This week in year 3 we enjoyed using pastels to draw reflections. We copied images of swans, moons, flowers or mountains reflected in water. We showed our drawings to the school during assembly.

During Maths class we used trundle wheels and tape measures to measure benches, corridors, the playground markings and other objects.

In Science we found out about how light travels in straight lines. We used torches and mirrors to experiment with changing the direction of the light. Hannah and Elsie explained how we did it during sharing assembly.

We had fun talking about the World Cup Rugby and have started to learn how to do the Haka.
