Make a scrapbook. When you go on day trips, collect brochures, tickets, post cards and photos of the places you go to. Write a sentence or two to go with them that explain what you liked about these places.
If you go to the beach, take a photo of the sandcastle you build, or the rock pool finds you made.
If you are lucky enough to go to a foreign country, collect a little of the money or a stamp and put it in.
Take a photo of the area you go to on a map.
If you only go to the shops there is nothing to stop you taking a photo. What did you buy? How did you get there?
Who did you meet up with? What friends did you play with? Where?
