Visiting the Harcourt Arboretum - October 2021

In October Hornbeam class visited the Harcourt Arboretum, part of Oxford University's Botanical Gardens.  The children had a wonderful morning learning about a range of trees from around the world.  There were fun activities like making their own crown using anything natural that they found around them and sketching in their art books. This trip was not only great fun but also an opportunity to learn about coniferous and deciduous trees, for Science.
