  • Theatre Tent Rocks Up

    Tue 21 Jun 2022

Tuesday and Wednesday were very exciting and busy days. We enjoyed visiting the theatre tent that had arrived on the field. We loved watching and joining in with Animal Rocks. Our favourite characters were the fox and the dinosaurs. The dad tortoise’s dancing to the Strictly tune made us laugh a lot. After the show we enjoyed workshops based on the performance, with lots of children making shakers and joining in with some rhythm fun while others wrote poetry. Thank you to the playhouse for coming along and sharing their talents with us.

  • Dragon Days!

    Wed 15 Jun 2022 Year 3 & 4

Year 3 & 4 finally got the chance to perform their play for a live audience, and what a performance it was!

  • Visited by an Explorer!

    Thu 09 Jun 2022 WPS

We were very lucky to have a guest come into school this week called Dr Niall McCann. When he is not being the uncle of a couple of members of our school, he is a conservationist and biologist who works all around the world protecting animals that need our help the most. He has appeared on TV shows with Sir David Attenborough and even had his own TV show called ‘Biggest and Baddest.’

After a fantastic assembly where he talked about lots of places he’d visited and animals he’d met, he joined a number of the children in their classrooms to answer some questions. What a fantastic visit!

  • Waddesdon Manor

    Tue 07 Jun 2022 WPS

This week, the entire school made it’s way on three coaches to Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire. We went looking for three things: (1) A great day out. (2) Something to inspire us in our artwork. (3) A bit of sun? I’d say we succeeded on all counts.

There are a few photos below, but if you’re interested please check out some of the class pages that are bursting with details and pictures from the fantastic day.
