Book Fair – I hope you

have all visited the Scholastic Book Fair this week.  Monday will be the last day for the Book Fair so please come and have a look at the books available as all books sold  will earn commission for the school.  The Book Fair will be open from 3.15 until 3.45pm in the school hall.

World Book Day – Today each child should receive a £1 book token which is valid from 27thFebruary until 25th March and can be used in most bookshops.  There are special books available for £1 or the token can be used as part payment for any book.

Parent Governor – We still have a vacancy for a Parent Governor.  If you are interested in this position please ask in the school office for more information of what is involved.

Sainsbury’s Tokens – These are now available in the shops so please bring them in as we are collecting them in order to be able to obtain a variety of resources for the school.

Nestlé Box Tops – The box tops that have been brought in have already raised £54.00 for us to spend on books.  Please continue to send them in as we need to send them off by the end of March for more books.

Lost Gloves – Amongst our lost property we have several odd gloves.  Please ask in the school office if your child has lost one glove and we will check to see if we have it in the lost property.

St. Leonards Church – ~This Sunday 26th February St. Leonards Church will be holding their ‘Messy Church’ from 2.30 until 4.30pm in Woodcote Village Hall.  All children (accompanied by an adult) are invited to share in an afternoon of family fun with crafts and games, a lively 15 minute service, and to finish there will be tea and cakes.  Free admission.  The theme this time is ‘Noah & the Ark’.
