What a fabulous week of performances from Beech and Hornbeam for our Christmas Recipe play. We do hope that you all enjoyed it as much as we did. The lights went up and the children rose to the occasion wonderfully. They sang beautifully; our ‘bananas’ sheep raised the rafters; the robins rocked; the snowmen serenaded us.
We must say a huge thank you to all the staff and helpers who produced wonderful costumes, hoisted lights, painted set, cued music and shifted staging. In addition a thank you to you, our audience, for your generous applause and enthusiasm, as well as for the donations to our drama fund that you made. We will ensure the money and talent are put to good use again in the future.
