Maths Problem Solving - 24th Sept 2015

We have been working hard to apply our new Maths skills to problem solving.  This week lots of Beech children have been losing their teeth!  This has left the tooth fairy with a problem about how much money to leave under their pillows. We worked out some possibilities for her! We needed to know the value of the coins and work out lots of combinations as she left us a message saying that she was leaving three coins under our pillow!  Some of us worked out that we might get £6 for a tooth but other people pointed out that we could be disappointed and only get 3p!

We know which amount most of us are wishing for!
