As it was National Poetry day on Thursday we decided to have a ‘Slam Poetry’ competition in Year 6. We read lots of poems, listened to poetry and wrote a class poem too. We then wrote our own poetry and three Year 5 pupils came to judge our performances. We shared some of the poems in Sharing Assembly on Friday.
