Year 3 class went for a stroll around the school and village green to look for maths in our environment. Here are pictures of what we saw.
We also invited our parents to come into class and take a look at some practical maths work. We made square based pyramids using marshmallows and uncooked spaghetti. We tried to make and cut out a net for a square based pyramid from paper. We then folded the net and used glue or other sticky materials to make our nets into 3D pyramids.
