The teaching is split across the week, Mrs Peacock from Monday to Wednesday, and Mrs Welsh on Thursday and Friday.  We are well supported by Mrs Thorne and Ms Berks. 

Homework

We usually give homework half termly, with the expectation that one piece is completed each week.  This generally comprises research for topic, a piece of maths, some activity that can be shared with family for example.  Children are also given spellings weekly, and are expected to read daily.  All children are registered to use Times Tables Rockstars to allow them to practice their tables in a fun way in preparation for the statutory test in June.

P.E

Children are entitled to 2 hours of PE per week, and in the spring term, they swim.  They should be prepared for these sessions with the appropriate clothing, hair tied back and jewellery such as ear rings removed for the day.
