This week, Year 5 got the opportunity to visit the Earth Trust near Wittenham Clumps. We were learning about the Anglo-Saxons and the effect they had on our local area. After a snowy start (cold!) we climbed a hill (still cold!) and looked out at the local area (crazy cold!). We did some drama, lost some teeth, learned how to turn a sheep fleece into thread then baked some Anglo-Saxon flatbreads on an open fire! Check out the photos below:
