We've been practising the G chord recently here in Maple Class. As part of our practise, we've been using a version of Vance Joy's song, Riptide but one that was rewritten to be about the school. The chords have been attached below. 

We've also been using the website Drumbit to add a drum pattern behind the song. If you're trying it out at home you might want to set the tempo to 65 and slow speed up as you feel more confident with the G chord.
