PSHE / RSE

Intent

Our PSHE curriculum encourages our children to become healthy, independent and responsible members of society. It is our vision that our children will have high aspirations and achieve their goals. Our strong emphasis on developing good emotional literacy develops our children’s understanding of the importance of their mental and physical health and equips them with the skills needed to become active, resilient members of society now and in later life. Through developing an understanding of the importance of being emotionally and physically healthy, PSHE at Woodcote Primary School encourages children to value themselves, each other, and their contributions to the wider world.
