Parents’ Evenings – These will take place as follows:
Monday 10th February All classes
Tuesday 11th February Oak, Beech, Ash and Rowan classes
Wednesday 12th February Hornbeam, Maple and Willow classes
Lists will go up in the school foyer next Monday 3rd February for you to sign up for an appointment.
If you have more than one child please leave time a gap between appointments to ensure that you get to the next one on time.
Oak Class Assembly – This will take place next Wednesday 5th February starting at 9.10am.
Children’s Book Fair – We are holding a Book Fair in school from Monday 10th February until Friday 14th February from 3.15pm until 3.45pm. The commission from sales at the fair allows us to buy books for the classroom and library so every book you buy helps us to get new books for the school. Today you will receive a leaflet showing a small selection of the titles available. There are hundreds of exciting books to choose from with prices from just £1.00.
Wildlife Area – Date for your diary: 16th February – Help needed for some digging and planting at the new Wildlife area at Woodcote Primary School. Please, please do come along and give any help you can, even for just an hour or two. We will be there from 10 – 4pm. Wheel barrows and spades or any other gardening tools are a bonus if you have them. Thank you !
Early Morning Activities – Please return your questionnaire regarding possible early bird activities (before school starting at 8.00 until 8.35am) as soon as possible to the school office so that we can gauge interest and start the most popular choices.
Lunchtime Supervisors – There is still a vacancy for a Lunchtime Supervisor 12.00 to 1.00pm after half term. Please ask in the school office for more details and an application form if you are interested in this position. A Supervisor is required for five days each week, however if you are only able to offer part of the week please do ask in the office as this may be possible.
End of Term – A reminder that we break up for the half term holiday on Friday 14th February at the normal time of 3.15pm and return to school on Monday 24th February.
