Management of the School
Whilst most of the day to day management of the school is dealt with by the Head teacher, the Governing body has particular responsibility for the management of the school budget, staffing arrangements, sites and buildings, the school development plan, links with parents and quality standards. The governors meet once a term to monitor progress in these areas. The Governing body comprises of parent representatives, County Council nominations, Co-opted members, Staff representatives, the Head teacher and a Parish Council representative.

- To ensure a good link between parents and Governors, parents have been allocated a particular Governor who will act as their first point of contact.
- Your Link Governor contact will be in touch to find out your views about the school and to identify ways in which we can better meet your own and your child’s needs.Parent/Governor elections are held as Governor’s terms of office expire.
- If you want to stand as a governor the opportunity will be publicised and you will be invited to discuss arrangements with the Headteacher or Chair of Governors.
