Dear Parents & Carers,

Willow Class (Year 6) are creating their own businesses to raise money for a class trip to Bristol to visit the SS Great Britain because they have been learning about Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

These businesses include:
Cake/Ice-pop selling
Car Washing
Face Painting
CD Selling
Log Selling
Cake/Ice-pop selling: The sweet smell of lovely cakes and delicious flap-jacks will be wafting through the school on 28th and 30th of June. Year 6 shall be selling them at 30p each in the playground. The cakes will also be freshly baked by the year sixes. Ice pops will be sold at the 28th of June’s Sports Day for 20p.
Car Washing: Your cars dirty and you’re to busy to wash it. So why not get it washed by our handy year sixes for £5 per car– a real bargain with no hidden costs! Car washing  will be on Thursday 30th June, in the playground – via bookable time slots. Separate information will be sent out from Year 6 class.
Face Painting: From Lady Birds to Tigers there are lots of different designs for you to have painted on your face. This event will take place on the 30th June  after school in the playground. You can also get a tattoo or your nails painted. The prices are: Small face paint £1. Big face paint £1.20. Plain nails 60p. Patterned nails £1. Small tattoo 50p. Big tattoo 70p.
CD selling: Ever wanted to hear your child’s play songs but can’t make it to the play? Then why not buy the CD we are making. It will include every class singing their favourite songs from this year. The CD’s will cost £3.00 each.
Log selling: The Year 6’s will be selling logs, kindling and Swedish fire logs. You should order by Thursday 30th June as they will be delivered the following Monday ready for you to collect. The logs will be £3.50, the Swedish fire logs will be £5 and the kindling will be £2.50.
