Thank you – to all the parents and staff that came along on Saturday to help with our Ground Force Day. After a great deal of work, we managed to achieve some noticeable improvements, especially at the front of the school where we have taken out several hedges and developed some open borders. There is still a lot to do over the next few weeks to complete the work, so please bear with us.
Aspens Menu Change – on Thursday 19th & Friday 20th May Aspens have swapped the menu so that Fish Fingers & Chunky Chips will be on the menu for Thursday not Friday. The swap is only for these dates. Please check your orders have been changed if necessary. Aspens have also asked that parents check with their children whether they have enjoyed the meal ordered for them. With the new summer term menu from Aspens, we have found a lot of children have not liked the meals ordered for them and therefore eat very little.
Lunch time Rugby – Mr Rod Horsley will be starting a new Summer lunch time Tag Rugby Club for Key Stage 2 children. It will be on Thursday lunch times from 12.25 – 12.55pm on our school field and will start on Thursday 26th May. If your child would like to take part please complete the slip below and return it to Mrs Mason in the office. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Sports Day – this year’s Sports Day will be on Thursday 23rd June. This date is an amendment to the one shown on the Head’s WPS update sent out earlier this term (Wednesday 22nd June is the Langtree Taster Day for Year 6.) If the weather prevents the day from taking place, an alternative day of Wednesday 29th June will be used.
KS2 Sports will be on the Langtree field from 9.30am to lunch time.
KS1 Sports will be on the Woodcote field from 1.15 – 3.15pm.
INSET days reminder – please note the 2 INSET days before the end of the summer term. Friday 27th May & Friday 1st July 2016 for staff training. School will be closed to pupils on these days.
Summer Term Tag Rugby Club – (please return to school office)

Year 6 residential – next week Willow Class and 3 members of staff are going off on their residential trip to PGL at Barton Hall, in Torquay. We hope they have a wonderful time and that the weather stays kind for them. There will be photo updates via the school website as often as staff are able to post them (or have access to the limited WiFi).

£3 per child. KS1 5:30pm -6:20pm & KS2 6:30pm -7:30pm.
Under 5’s must be accompanied by an adult.
We will also be offering temporary tattoos for an additional nominal fee of 50p per tattoo. If your child would like to have one please add the amount for the tattoo to the entrance fee and sign to give consent for us to give your child the temporary tattoo.
