Young Voices

Pupils from Years 5 and 6 left this morning to join other school choirs at the London 02 Arena for the Young Voices concert. It has been lovely to hear the children rehearsing in the school hall over the past few months. If you have a child or children who have gone to London there is an app in the app store under Young Voices. You need your own code plus the password of PAR36486.  A reminder that the coaches should be back by about 11.30 p.m. If this time is significantly different information will be on the school website from about 11 p.m.

A note from the Governors

We would like to welcome 3 new members to the Governing Body and say ‘thank you’ to them for putting themselves forward.  Rachel Winterbottom is Mum to Thomas and Olivia in Year 3, Dr Peter Sudbury is Dad to Joshua in Year 2 and Charlotte in Oak class, and Paul Smith is Dad to Isabelle in Year 2 and Adam in Year 3. We are still looking for one more member of the Governing Body. If you are interested please let Mrs Ashwood know in the School office and she will pass your details on, or you can email the Chair of Governors, Helena McBride on Helena.adams07@gmail.com. As Governors we support the School Leadership Team and being a school governor is interesting and rewarding.

Guitar Lessons
If your child is interested in learning the Guitar the tutor has vacancies. The information is available on a printed sheet which you can pick up from the school office, or you can email goguitarmail@yahoo.co.uk .

A Note from Aspens

Amanda has spoken with the Operations Manager about having  the menu amended in week 3 and changed the Tuesday lunch choice from Mango lime pork to Lasagne garlic bread and salad.

Elliot from the Aspens IT team has made the changes on the Aspens parent pay site, he has also messaged parents about these changes so you will need to re-order your child/children’s lunches.
