Jonah – A Fishy Tail – Well done to Ash and Rowan class for their production on Wednesday evening.  Thanks go to Mrs Peacock, Miss Allen and Mrs Bodeker and to other staff members who helped to make this production so successful and also to the children who all performed so well.  We hope everyone enjoyed it.

Barnardo’s Egg Challenge – This challenge taken up by some of the children in the school raised £261.52 which has now been donated to Barnardo’s.  Well done to everyone who took part.  The prize bear was won by Jack Marcham in Year 4.

Bright Sparks Science – There are still spaces available for the Science Club after Easter.  The sessions will be on Wednesday afternoons from 3.20pm – 4.20pm at a cost of £39.00 for 6 weeks.  Please collect a registration form from the office and return it completed with the payment as soon as possible as spaces are limited.

World Book Day – We raised £115.10 during Book Week from the family quiz, the morning reading café and donations received.  This has now been donated to Book Aid International.

Cabin Gate – After Easter you will see a new gate and fence at the back of the Cabin.  This is being erected for security reasons and will not be accessible by children or parents as they should use the gate at the side of the main school building.

New Term – The new term starts on Wednesday 23rd April (there is an Inset Day on Tuesday 22nd April).  Mrs Hunt, our new Headteacher, will have joined us by then.  Thank you for all the support you have given to me in my time as Acting Headteacher.

Enjoy the Easter holidays.
